ELLIOTT
LUCINDA CAMPBELL was born July 21 1825 , in Perryopolis , Fayette County , Pensylvania , and died near Dallas April 24 , 1905 , aged 79 years , 9 months and 3 days. She was of a family of nine children all of whom have passed away except one brother , Z.S. CAMPBELL , of Knoxville.

In 1837 she came with her parents to Coshocton county , Ohio where she was converted and joined the M. e. church ,at eighteen years of age. Oct. 28 , 1851 she was united in marriage to EDWARD ELLIOTT . Oct 1853 they came to Iowa and brought land west of Dallas.
To this union was born two children , L. N. ELLIOTT at whose home she died and Mrs. B. C. LEAVENGOOD 3 miles southeast of Dallas. She taught school for a number of years before her marriage. Her aged husband still survives her , also 14 grand children.

When the Dallas class was first formed at the home of her brother , J. S. CAMPBELL , they handed in their letter and have been members of it ever since.

The funeral service were conducted by Rev. PAUL GARDNER , of Carlisle , and she was laid to rest in the cemetery west of Dallas.
