MRS. ANNIE SNELLER

Mrs. Annie Sneller, the daughter of Hendrika and Rick Hulleman, was born April 5, 1895 at Taintor, Iowa, and passed away this life Nov. 28, 1956 at Newton, Iowa, after a lingering illness the past three years.

On April 10, 1918, she was united in marriage to Jacob Sneller at Pella, Iowa and had spent her entire 38 years of married life in the Otley and Prairie City communities. Born to this union were five sons and two daughters, namely Gerrit of Otley; Rick of Prairie City; Labertha Vander Schel of Newton; Henry of Harvey; Jacob Jr. and Arthur of Pella.

Surviving her passing are her husband, Jacob; six children; one brother, Mr. Henry Hulleman of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. John Bandstra, of Chandler, Minn., and Mrs. Gradus Klein, of Pella, and 25 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daughter, three brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Sneller was a member of the First Reformed Church in Prairie City. Funeral services were held Dec. 1, 1956 at 2 o'clock p.m., at the First Reformed Church, Prairie City, the Rev. Dick Vriesman officiating. Prayer services were held at the Garden Chapel Funeral Home, 12:45 p.m., prior to the church service. Interment was made in Waveland Cemetery, Prairie City. Serving as casket bearers were: Mr. Marion Hulleman, Mr. Rick Hulleman, Mr. Richard Vriezlaar, Mr. James Vriezlaar, Mr. Paul Bandstra and Rick Dandstra. Musical numbers were rendered by Mrs. Ray Buitenwerf and Mr. William Van Zee, with Mrs. Dick Vriesman accompanist. Selections were "What A Friend" and "All the Way My Savior Leads Me."
