Mrs. J. D. Meekma died at the home of her children, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Meekma at Minneola, Kansas on last Wednesday, July 26, at 10 o’clock p.m., at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 5 days, and is survived by several children.

The remains were shipped to this city where the funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock p.m, from the home, and at 3 o’clock from the First Reformed church, Rev. J. Wesselink, officiating interment at Oakwood cemetery.
