Pella's Weekblad, Oct 27, 1889, p. 5, col 2: Sunday night Mrs. Cornelis Muilenburg died very unexpectedly from complications of childbirth. She was over 36 years of age. Monday afternoon was the burial of the deceased and the dead child at the new cemetery. The services were held at the mortuary by Rev. W. Moerdijk. The concern and bereavement was evident by the large crowd in attendance, which followed the remains to their final resting place.
