Services for Lois Arlene De Nooy, 45 of Pella, who died June 11, 1994 at Pella Community Hospital, were held June 15 at Second Christian Reformed Church. Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.

The Rev. Donald Orange officiated at the services. Music was provided by Dick Knoot and Chris Vander Slik, vocalists, and Beverly Brand, organist. Pallbearers were Vince Knoot, Mark Cooper, Alan Foster, Darin Meinders, Wes Lanphier, and Randy De Nooy.

De Nooy was born Feb. 23, 1949 at Still Osteopathic Hospital in Des Moines, the daughter of Everett H. and Anna Mae Kuiken Meinders. She attended Pella Christian Grade School and graduated from Pella Christian High School in 1967. On March 1, 1968, she married Jonathan De Nooy at Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Pella. She did part-time work, housecleaning and was employed at various Pella businesses.

In September 1989, she graduated from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines with a general office diploma. She was employed by Pella Corporation for two years and in 1991 became an employee at Precision Pulley, Inc. She was a member of Second Christian Reformed Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and an infant sister. She is survived by one daughter, Patti De Nooy of Chicago, Ill.; two sons, Stuart and his wife Lori of Pella, and Dan, a senior at Pella Christian High School; her mother of Pella; one sister, Mrs. Dick (Connie) Knoot of Newton; and one brother, Vernon of Warrensburg, Mo.

A memorial has been established to Pella Christian High School.
