Marie Fuller was born on Sept. 29, 1909, in Knoxville, to J.O. and Flora Roland Jones.

As a young woman, Marie worked at Dickerson's Produce, local restaurants and the bakery. Marie married Charles McAninch. Charles passed away at a young age.

She attended Bible School in St. Paul and later lived in the Ottumwa area, where she met and married Rev. Ed Fuller. Marie owned a second hand and antique store in Ottumwa. Marie was an excellent baker, known for her wonderful homemade bread. She was an active member of the Apostolic Church in Knoxville and the First Pentecostal Church of Oskaloosa. God was her life and she rejoiced in His Glory.

Marie passed away on Sept. 26, 2007, at the age of 97.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles McAninch; her second husband, Rev. Ed Fuller; a daughter, Betty Marie and her brothers, Buster, Oscar, Clint, Jimmy, Frank and Jack Jones and her sister Eva.

Marie is survived by her granddaughters, Robin Landschoot and Andria Adams of Brunswick, Ga; many great and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Merna of Albia; a brother, Harry Jones of Texas and a host of other family members and friends.
