Glennice was born April 14, 1936, in Le Mars, the daughter of Hubert and Verna Trometer Radloff. She attended Country School in Plymouth County and graduated from Le Mars High School in 1954. She was an active 4-H member and was also involved with her church youth group and choir.

Glennice attended Wartburg College in Waverly, where she received her Associate Degree and met Giles Card. They were married Jan. 21, 1956, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Merrill, her home church. They lived in Rowley and Council Bluffs before moving to Knoxville in 1965.

Glennice retired from teaching in 2000 after 35 years with the Knoxville School District. She passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in Westridge Nursing and Rehab Center, at the age 71.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Greg, in 1981, and husband, Giles, in March of this year and one brother, Norman.

Glennice is survived by one son, Grant (Joann) of Santa Fe, N.M.; one brother, Larry (Rosemary) Radloff of Le Mars; two sisters, Mary Ann Kehrberg (Dan) of Fairmont, Minn.; and Nancy Delgado of Rochester, N.H., and many other relatives and friends.

Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. at Evans-McCleery Funeral home in Knoxville with Pastor Kirk A. Erwin presiding. Internment was in Graceland Cemetery. For those desiring, memorials can be made to Knoxville Dollars for Scholars.
