Michael Philip Barbour was born on Feb. 12, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Philip Barbour and Levohn (Beard) Barbour.

He attended Knoxville schools and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served four years during the Vietnam War before he was honorably discharged in 1965. He was an over-the-road semi driver for many years and had lived in Bakersfield, CA and for the last ten years in Bullhead City, Ariz.

Michael passed away at the Pleasant Care Living Center, in Pleasantville, on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at the age of 63.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Cheryl Rowland of Hartford and nieces and nephews.
