Susan R. Fee Murray, age 44 of Hedrick, passed away on March 21, 2007 at her home. Her funeral service was held on March 24 at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Doll officiating. Cremation followed the service. Memorials may be made to the family.

Susan Renee Fee Murray, daughter of Lester Dale and Carolyn Heaton Fee, was born on Aug. 16, 1962, in Knoxville. She was a 1980 graduate of Eddyville High School.

On Oct. 6, 1984, Susan married Craig Murray in Eddyville. She had worked as a nurse's aide and rehab aide at the Manor House in Sigourney before taking a position as a teacher's associate at Pekin Schools.

Susan was a member of the Bethel Christian Church in Eddyville. She enjoyed quilting, coaching tee-ball, gardening, reading, deer hunting and dressing as a clown at birthday parties, nursing homes, schools and Hedrick Barbecue Days.

Survivors include her husband, Craig of Hedrick; her two sons, Eric and Tim, both at home; her parents, Lester and Carolyn Fee of rural Eddyville; her brother, Scott Fee and wife Deb of rural Eddyville; seven nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her brother, Gregory Dale Fee in November 2006.
