Larry Eugene Fisher was born Feb. 23, 1947, in Oskaloosa to Elvis and Lois Rankin Fisher. Larry passed away in Knoxville on Feb. 22, 2007, at the age of 59.

Larry attended the Marion County Association for Retarded Children and the Windfield Law Opportunity Center for several years. He enjoyed playing cards, magazines, and he liked to dance. Larry lived in Melcher-Dallas most of his life moving to Knoxville a year and a half ago.

He was preceded in death by his father Elvis Eugene Fisher. Surviving is his mother Lois M. Fisher; his siblings, Carolyn Breese, Jeri Lee, Terry Fisher, Barry Fisher, and Garry Fisher all of Melcher-Dallas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Feb. 24 at Pierschbacher Funeral Home. Interment was in the Pleasantville Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the New Hope United Methodist Church or to the Melcher-Dallas Rescue Unit.
