Gerritt Uitermarkt

PELLA - Funeral services for Gerrit A. Uitermarkt, 86, of Pella will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Pella First Reformed Church.

The Rev. J. Mark Beach will conduct services.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Memorials to the Iowa Bone Marrow Project will be accepted.

Friends may call at the Pella Garden Chapel Funeral Home all day Thursday and visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home.

Mr. Uitermarkt died Monday at the Pella Community Hospital.

Survivors are his wife, two children, five step-children, four brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, September 1993
