Funeral services for Mildred Etta (Brees) Robuck, 77, of Knoxville, who died August 22, at her home were held August 25, 1994, at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Marion County.

The Reverends Tom Moore and Jack Blubaugh officiated at the services. Music was provided by Mary Ely, organist, and Sharon Moore, vocalist. Pallbearers were Ron Ammons, Bryan Brees, Timothy Brees, Jeff Morgan, Rodney Morgan and Jim Rickabaugh, Jr.

Mildred was born March 26, 1917 in Davenport, the daughter of Emma Etta Skinner and Harley Roland. She was united in marriage to Lewis Corbin Brees on October 10, 1931. She was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed raising her family, gardening, mushrooming, and fishing. She loved the outdoors, and being in touch with nature. She attended the Open Door Assembly Church in Knoxville and was a member of the Open Bible Church, and attended many other churches in the area.

On September 20, 1980, Mildred was united in marriage to Lowell Jackson Robuck. The couple made their home in Knoxville until his passing in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; three brothers and a granddaughter.

She is survived by three daughters, Alberta Morgan of Knoxville, Linda Rickabaugh of Knoxville, and LuAnn Cooper of Des Moines; two sons, Kenneth Brees, and Danny Brees, both of Knoxville; a stepdaughter, Sharon McCurdy of Russell; two sisters, Marguerite Bates of Pershing and Beulah Lutz of Monroe; 18 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, eight great-great-granchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Open Door Assembly Church in Knoxville.
