Pamala Kay Thomasson was born on Feb. 21, 1951, in Knoxville. She died on Oct. 20, 2006, at her home. Her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Pam was a devoted sister, daughter, mother, grandma and aunt.

She is survived by her parents, Roy and Mary Thomasson of Mitchellville; a daughter, Angela; a son, John of Pennsylvania; sisters, Jan Poulson of Mitchellville, Paula Smith of Newton and Joy and husband Chris Hagedorn of Newton; brothers, Jay Dee Thomasson of Marshalltown and Jamie and wife Lori Thomasson of Newton; two grandsons; 12 nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews and special friend, Buckels.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Hamilton's Mitchellville Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
