Diana R. Corder, 63, of Knoxville, died Aug. 3, 2006, at Comfort House in Pella.
A Celebration of Life Service for Diana was held on Aug. 5 at the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville with Jeff Dalrymple officiating. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

Diana was born on April 13, 1943, in Glenwood, Mo. to Lloyd and Marvel"Simbro" Yearns. She attended Glenwood schools.

She married Larry Corder on June 10, 1967, in Ottumwa, the couple had made their home in Knoxville for many years.

Diana was a great wife and mother, one who always took it upon herself to help others, she served as a self-appointed care-giver for many residents of the area for many years, as well as calling on many residents of area nursing facilities.

She lived her faith, she was one of the founding members of the Knoxville Church of Christ and helped form congregations in Chariton and Albia.

Diana always asked about her grandchildren and her special nieces and nephews who were do dear to her heart.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Larry of Knoxville, one son, Jason Corder and his wife Michelle of Crowley, La. One brother, Doug Yearns and his wife Debbie of Anabel, Mo.; her parents, Lloyd and Marvel Yearns of Glenwood, Mo. and her two special grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Mae Crockett.
