Garry Wayne was born on Aug. 8, 1946, in Knoxville to Phil and Madge (Laird) Clark and passed away at his home on Oct. 13, 2006, at the age of 60. He was a graduate of Knoxville High School. Garry married Betty Shives on June 2, 1967, at the Knoxville Methodist Church.

Skeeter was a man of many traits and could master any task he set his mind to do. He was a very hard-worker, working for Vermeer as a welder for 11 years, as a Deputy Sheriff Reserve for 40 plus years and driving a truck. For many years, he enjoyed working with his family at the Phil Clark & Son's Sale Barn.

Skeeter enjoyed entertaining his friends and family with his talent for telling a story about anything or anybody. He always loved a great rodeo and watching bareback bronco riding. Skeeter was a very generous man with his time and energy giving to anyone who needed him. He was a unique man, bursting with life, love and laughter.

Garry will be deeply missed by his wife, Betty; children, Dusty (Rosely) Clark of Knoxville and Darcy (Jon) Juline of Columbia; four grandchildren; his mother, Madge Clark of Knoxville; sisters, Sally (Raymond) Smith and Barbara (Mike) Damon both of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Ruth (Roy) Loney of Knoxville; in-laws: Barbara (Jim) Walker of Grand Junction, Bonnie Kaster of Des Moines and Bryan Shives of Knoxville and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Phil Clark and father-in-law, Lee Shives.
