Robert David Vander Linden, 58, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm Friday at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm Friday with the family present from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the funeral home.

Bob was born May 17, 1947 in Oskaloosa to Virgil and Bonnie Vander Linden. He grew up in Pella and graduated from High School there in 1965.

He was married to Lynn Van Tuyl on September 2, 1967. Bob graduated from Drake University with a degree in Psychology in 1969. At the time of his death he was working for Talent Link as a job recruiter for computer jobs. Bob loved spending time with his family, playing tennis, watching movies, playing bridge and golf and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Bob is survived by his parents, Virgil and Bonnie Vander Linden; his loving wife, Lynn; his daughter Erin (Billie) Roll-Vander Linden; his sister Sandy (Fred) Kreykes; his brother-in-law Chuck (Fran) Van Tuyl; his father-in-law Bill Van Tuyl; and his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.
