Services for Dustan Paul Ripperger, 26, of Des Moines were held on May 24, 2006, at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona. Interment was in the Rosemount Cemetery. Memorials may be left in care of Dustan's children.

Dustan Paul was born on April 9, 1980, to David Lynn Ripperger and Kimberly Kay (Shipley) Yeager in Chariton. He was a proud father of three wonderful children, Zachary Paul, Makayla and Kd. Dustan liked being outdoors fishing. He was fun to be around and enjoyed practical jokes.

Dustan is survived by his children, Zachary, Makayla and Kd Ripperger of Des Moines; his parents, David (Linda) Ripperger of Melcher-Dallas and Kimberly (Bob) Yeager of Des Moines; a sister, Jessie Ripperger of Melcher-Dallas; his grandparents, Laura Ripperger of Milo, Sam and Val Connett of Woodburn, Lydia and Melvin Shipley of Des Moines; a niece, Mariah VanSyoc; his step brothers & sisters, Roger Inlow of Knoxville, Angie Gentry of Melcher, Josh Yeager of Newton and Shawn and Laura Yeager of Illinois.
