Thursday, April 23, 1908

Tracy, April 18. -- Sunday evening, April 12, at 6 p.m., at the home of
WILLIAM H. VAN BENTHUYSEN and wife, occurred the marriage of their daughter, MARY EMILY to GUY SWEEM, of Tracy. At the appointed hour the contracting parties marched into the parlor to the wedding march played by Owen Houser. The words that made them husband and wife were spoken by Rev. J.C. Leonard, of Bussey, in the presence of more than one hundred relatives and friends of the bride and groom. After the ceremony was performed and the usual congratulations, the company was invited to partake of a splendid two-course luncheon.
