Bacon, Charles Accidently Shoots Himself 1894

Pleasantville News: Chas. Bacon, a thirteen-year-old son of Thos. Bacon, who resided at Des Moines, shot himself accidentally, with a pistol, Tuesday, resulting fatally. He was in a room by himself when the accident occurred, and hearing the report of the pistol his parents rushed into the room only to find him breathing his last. He was a nephew of S. L. Frush and Philip Shoemaker, and his parents formerly resided south of this place. His remains were brought here for interment Wednesday.
