Hello Shaun,
Not sure if this is still a valid link. I know about the Alexander Figgins adopted by J.D. Guthrie. He was the son of Fielding Feagins (or Figgins) Jr and Prudence Buzzard. Prudence was Fielding's 2nd wife; they had 5 children. Alexander's sister Eva was adopted as well by another family. I don't know about the other 3 sisters. Fielding was dead by the 1880 census, and Prudence hasn't been found since that census. I don't know if this helps.
