Susana and Hannah Cline

CLINE

In 1848, Susana Cline married William Harrison Logan at the home of Hannah Cline in Des Moines, Iowa. I BELIEVE that Hannah was Susana's mother, but I have no other proof.

This is what I know. Susana was born in Tazewell County, Illinois in 1828.

Hannah was born in 1801. She shows up in the 1850 Iowa census for Des Moines as a widow.

In the 1880 census for the same place, she has a granddaughter living with her named Rosie Herron.

(I do not have my data with me at the moment, so I am not including exact dates, and some spellings may not be exact.)

Can anyone help with the missing data?

What is Hannah Cline's maiden name?
Who did she marry, and where and when?
Who were her children?

What sources can you share with me?

I love documentation. I have the marriage information for Susana and William Logan, and I am glad to share it if you do not have a copy. I also have a photo of the tombstone for Susana Logan, who died 24 December 1879 in Nebraska. (She missed that all-important 1880 census.)

Thank you for any clues you can provide to my mystery.

Beckie Egbert
