It is funny that you should ask about this town of Laredo. I was just looking through my old newspaper clippings last night and found an article that I got out of the Oskaloosa Herald. I do not have a date but, if you would email me your address I will send you a xerox copy of the article. It says that the town is located in a cornfield 8 miles North of Oskaloosa on Highway 163 at the halfway mark between Pella and Oskaloosa. It says that the cornfield is located in a field that would have been planted by Bill Overbergen on the west side of the highway. It also says that the site that they trenched was just North of the filling station at the halfway station, the second cutoff directly North of Leighton. I hope this helps you out.
