Phillip R Shaw from Monroe tswp in Mahaska County

My 3x great grandfather was Phillip Rodbur Shaw and lived in Monroe Township for sometime, with his wife Abigail,aka Sarah Abigail (she flipped them back and forth frequently).

Of course, I didn't find this out until I didn't live in Oskaloosa anymore....and I wasn't from there to begin with. Hubby had been transferred there from Northern IL ! Talk about the small world thing !

Where is Monroe Township and what cemeteries are near there ? I know that there are at least 2 Shaw children buried there and possibly 3 of them.

His wife's maiden name was Wimberly and her family followed them there as well...Her mother was Jane Wimberly, and brothers Alex, Hiram and John that I know of for sure and possibly James as well...but I do not know if he left Sangamon Co IL when they all moved.
