WARREN.-The funeral of the late Captain John H. Warren occurred from the Warren Kalbach home, 116
North Seventh street, Tuesday after noon. nterment was made in Forest cemetery. The services consisted of prayer by Rev. W. P. Williams, Rector of St. James Episcopal church, a brief address by his friend, James A. Devitt, and music by the Penn college quartette, Mr. Devitt paid a beautiful tribute to Captain Warren, and read Tennyson's "In Memoriam," which was a favorite with the de-
ceased. The pall bearers were Major John F. Lacey, Col. J. F. McNeill, W. H. Kalbach, W. P. Hawkins, M.D. Gilchrist and Jas, A. Devitt. A large number of friends attended and paid parting tribute to one of Oskaloosa's most distinguished pioneer
citizens.
