ANDREWS.-Beulah C. Andrews died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marie Ellyson Stanley, near Escondido, California, on the morning of May 13, 1911, aged 81 years, 11 months and 13 days. Funeral services Monday, May 15, at 2:30 p. m., conducted by Rev. Louis D. Lloyd, a nephew, of Los Angeles. Interment was made at Oak Hill cemetery. The deceased was born near Brownsville, Pa., May 30, 1829, the youngest daughter of David and Margaret Cattell. Early life was spent in Pennsylvania and Ohio. She was twice married;
first to Ezra Ellyson, of Damascus, Ohio, afterward to Benjamin C. Andrews, of Pleasant Plain, Iowa. She was a life long member of the
Friends' church and moved to Oskaloosa for the purpose of educating her children in Penn College. She built a home there and for nearly thirty
years was a devoted worker in the church and in home and foreign missions. She gave generously of her means and time to the city mission and charitable work. In 1905 she moved to California to reside with her daughter, with whom she made
her home until called from work to reward. A rarely beautiful life of service and unselfishness has gone from us. None knew her but who was the better for having known her.
