Died, in Des Moines, Sept. 14, 1900, Mrs. O. Anna Edmonson, wife of Morgan Edmonson, aged 33 years, 2 months and 11 days. Miss O. Anna Wymore was born in Monroe township, July 3, 1867, and was married to D. M. Edmonson, May 5, 1895. This death has cast a gloom over many homes in their neighborhood as Mrs. Edmonson had a large circle of friends and relatives living here and in Monroe township. She spent her whole life here and was a special favorite. The funeral was at the Wymore church last Sunday at 2 p.m. and interment in Wymore cemetery. The sermon was preached by Rev. White the Free Methodist minister assisted by Rev. Gilbert, both of Rose Hill. There was one of the largest funeral processions ever in this place. The church would not hold one-half the people present. (The Oskaloosa Herald, September 20, 1900, page 8)
