Burning kerosene scattered over the clothing of Hazel Kirby of Montezuma, 16 years old, caused injuries from which she died.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows a girl by this name is buried in Union Mills Cemetery in Mahaska County. She was born January 10, 1898 and died April 6, 1913.
