Effie Bacon, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bacon of Rose Hill, was buried at Wymore Cemetery Monday afternoon. This is a sad blow to Mr. and Mrs. B. They have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. (The Oskaloosa Herald, Oct. 17, 1889, p. 1)
