John White, Esq., of Oskaloosa, Iowa committed suicide at his home last Saturday night, the 24th inst. He was found in his barn suspended by the neck, having hung himself. Mr. White was one of the oldest residents of the State, and had acquired a very large property. He was no doubt insane when he committed the rash act.
