Services were held for Marie Mendenhall December 5, 1971, at the Harden Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Thayer officiating. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville, Iowa.
Casket bearers were Alvie Fisher, Junior Fisher, Warren Steen, Merlin Fisher, Keith Davis and Arthur Whitehead.
Mary Petersen and Edna Clark were flower attendants.
The musical selection, “In The Garden” was provided by Mrs. Clyde Lockard, Mrs. Dale Schwechel and Mrs. Edwin Bryan.
LIFE STORY OF MARIE MENDENHALL
Marie Mendenhall was born June 6, 1889, in Lynnville, daughter of Jeremiah and Julia Hudson Mendenhall. She passed away December 3, 1971, at the age of 82 years, five months, and 27 days, at the Mahaska Manor Nursing Home.
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. George Ireland, Des Moines; and Mrs. Charles Spykerman, Sanborn.
Miss Mendenhall lived the past 31 years in New Sharon.
