Marie Stout, 85 of Carbondale, CO passed away on Saturday, May 3, 1997 at Heritage Park Care Center.
She was born December 4, 1911 in Lynnville to John and Martha DeVries Dankert. She married Otis Stout in 1939, and they lived in the Deep River/New Sharon area for 20 years, until they moved to Bouton and Perry. Marie lived the last five years of her life in Colorado.
She is survived by three sons, Larry Wayne of Sheboygan, WI, John William of Edwards, CO and Archie Dee of Houston, TX; one daughter, Cara Ruth of El Jebel, CO; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Sadie McGriff; and a brother, Henry Dankert.
Burial was in Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, following a graveside prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7.
