Albia - Karen K. Larson Mortimer, 54, died April 30, 1997, at her home in Flossmoor, Ill. She was born Nov. 14, 1942, in Oskaloosa to Lennart and Irene Davis Larson. She married David Mortimer in Nov. 1971, in West Branch. He survives. She was a pre-school teacher at Wonderland Pre-School and a member of the Flossmoor Community Church. She is survived by her husband of Flossmoor, Ill.; her father of Albia; a son Jeffrey Mortimer of Flossmoor, Ill.; a brother, David Larson of Albia; and a sister Judith Webb of Oskaloosa. She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents. The serivce will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, the Rev. Kent Shane officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. Visitation will be at the church preceding the service from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to Hospice.
