MRS. MARY VAN TOORN

Mrs. Mary Alta Van Toorn, 65, of 309 Third Avenue West, Oskaloosa, died Saturday morning, November 3, at the Mahaska Hospital. She was a life-long resident of Mahaska County. Surviving are two sons, Roy of Allerton and Clarence with whom she made her home, of Oskaloosa; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Orfield of Jefferson; 18 grandchildren; two brothers, John Grandia of Leighton, and Walter Grandia of Pella; and one sister, Mrs. Otto Brummel of Leighton.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with Rev. M. Dwight Walker in charge. Burial was in the Porterville Cemetery. –-Oskaloosa Herald.
