Funeral services for Mrs. Onno WRIGHT were held Monday, February 14th at the Fremont Funeral Chapel [Fremont, Mahaska Co., IA], conducted by Rev. James King. Mrs. Wright was 88 years of age and had passed away at the Mahaska Hospital, [Oskaloosa, IA] Saturday afternoon, Feb. 12th. She had been in failing health for many years, had been with Mrs. CRANSTON at Cedar, [Mahaska Co., IA] for a number of years and had an apartment at the Hotel building at Fremont at one time. She had been with Mrs. Hazel HIEMSTRA in Oskaloosa for the past 3 ½ years and up until suffering a stroke two weeks ago had been in fairly good health. She had lived in Mahaska County most of her life.

Onno G. WRIGHT was born May 10, 1883 near Cedar, the daughter of Moses H. and Maggie GILMORE PICKEN. She was united in marriage on December 3, 1908 to Harry C. WRIGHT in Cedar. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Cedar United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Gilmore C. of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, T.A. PICKEN of Cedar and one sister, Mrs. Kedna KAMERER of Searsboro, IA.

Burial was in Cedar Twp Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilmore WRIGHT of Tucson, AZ; Mr. & Mrs. Don PIKE of Chicago, Mrs. Edna KAMERER, who is in Kansas City for the winter and Ralph WRIGHT and his mother, Mrs. George BAKER of Omaha, NE were at the Harold ANDREWS home Monday evening. They have all returned home.
