Hi Sharon,

I was not able to find an obituary for William but I do have some information on him for you.

Information from Madison County Death Records is as follows: Wright. William - Male - 59y - farmer - d. April 15, 1900 - married - b. Virginia - d. Winterset, Ia. - COD: pneumonia - burial - Union Twp., Primitive Baptist Cemetery.

His wife was Mary Jane Murphy, (m) Aug. 16, 1866, Madison Co. Ia.

Also, he was a Civil War Vet.: Co I, 4th Ia Cav., enlisted Oct. 23, 1861
