My ancestor was Alexander Blair II. His third wife was Martha Terry. I recently came across some information that after Alexander died Martha married James Wilson who was apparently a hired hand. The report also states he murdered Martha the year after they were married. A notice in Winterset paper on Dec. 20, 1877 says that Martha died last week. I can find no information about a murder.
Can anybody help me?
