Stewarts in Madison County, IA

I am searching for any information on William Adams Stewart, born about 1822, in KY. He moved to Shelby County, IN and married Louisa Rush. They had 5 children then moved to Center Township/Winterset, Madison County, IA, in the mid 1850s. They had 6 more children. I am speculating that he died around 1879-1880 as I do not find him listed on a 1880 census in Madison County. His wife is listed along with several of their youngest children.
