My Great maternal Grandfather was Mondel Hays, born February 14, 1873 in Lacelle, Clarke Co., IA. Mondel was the son of David S. Hays and Harriet Blanch Heasley. Mondel married Margaret Amelia Umland on May 04, 1902 in Crawford Co., IA. Mondel Hays died on May 11, 1952 in Clarke Co., IA. Mondel and Margaret had the following eight children: Gilbert G. Hays, Roscoe Saunders Hays, George Homer Hays, Almarine Mae Hays, Leora Harriet Hays (my Grandmother), Sears Robert Hays, Maxine Hays and Chester David (Buddy) Hays. I would like to find out if any of the Hays families in Madison Co., IA are related. Does anyone have any information they would like to share? THANK YOU, Karen
