Hi Tanya,
Well, I have checked everything that I can think of with every possible combination of Bird W. (Ted) Stout and haven't found much.
He is in the 1920 census for Madison County, Iowa.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1880 in Madison County, Iowa.
He married Clyde Sylvia Etchison.
I found his WWI Draft Registration Card and it does not list his parents.
Both of their obits are online on the Madison County, Iowa GenWeb website.
They are both buried at the Montpelier Cemetery in Crawford Township, Madison County, Iowa.
Their headstone photos are online at the Madison County, Iowa Gravestone Photo Project website.
I "think" his parents are John W. & Sarah (James) Stout. They are the only Stout's that I have found in the part of Madison County that he was supposed to be born in and lived in per his obit, that his time of birth would fit.
I just can't find him listed in any census record and I can't find his parents listed in any of the records that I found.
I know you are looking for his parents but I just can't identify them for sure at this time. If I should find their names I will write and let you know.
