Services were held in the Methodist church at Lorimor Friday afternoon at 1:30 for Mrs. Nancy Hiskey, 79, who died January 7 at her home three miles northeast of Lorimor. The Rev. Wolfe of Lorimor, was in charge of the services; burial was in the Barney cemetery.

Mrs. Hiskey was the daughter of John and Esther Ann Cornelison, and was born in Indiana July 20, 1852. When five years old she came to Iowa with her parents, the family locating on a farm now occupied by her brother, G. W. Cornelison.

She was married when she was fifteen to Samuel E. Hiskey, who died in 1914. Nine of their ten children are living, Elwood of Des Moines; Elmer, Elza, Mrs. Gertie Jackson and Mrs. Vesta Dodd, all of Lorimor; Elbert of Cedar Falls; Vern of Great Falls, Montana; Mrs. Hattie Bronson of Geraldine, Montana; Roy of St. Joseph, Missouri. In addition there are fifty-two grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two brothers, G. W. of Lorimor; A. J. of Great Falls, Montana.

Mr. and Mrs. Hiskey lived in Madison county four years, moving then to the farm where the deceased made her home sixty years.
