Page 1, Column 1JOSEPH LADD DIES AT OKLAHOMA HOME
Joseph E. Ladd, former Madison county resident, died last week at his home in Fargo, Oklahoma. Word of his death was received by Winterset relatives.
Mr. Ladd was the oldest son of B. J. and Martha Ladd. He left the county about 35 years ago, making his home in Lee and Jefferson township previous to his departure for the south.
He had been an invalid the past two years. He is survived by his widow, three children and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Mary Monk is a sister and J. J. Ladd and Wesley Ladd are brothers. Two other brothers and a sister live in the west.
