MRS. LOY CLANTON, FORMER RESIDENT, BURIED HERE

Word came here Friday of last week announcing the death of Mrs. Loy Clanton at her home in Long Beach, Calif. Mrs. Clanton who passed away in her sleep, had been in poor health for several years. Her husband brought her back here for burial, arriving here Thursday afternoon. Rev. Hall conducted the funeral services at the Methodist church at two o’clock. Burial was made here.

Mr. Clanton left that evening on his return trip home, as the company where he is employed would not let him have any more time. Mrs. Clanton before her marriage was Miss Mary Strain of Lorimor, and now has a brother, Raymond, still living there. Mrs. Clanton was 52 years of age, and many years ago attended high school here.
