Henry Abegg, born Pittsburg, Pa., September 25, 1850, died at his home near Truro, April 29, 1914, 63y 7 mo 4 d.

When 1 year old moved to Iowa and settled near Ottumwa. Married Miss Mettie Cobbs, Jan. 26, 1887. Had 11 children, 5 daughters, 6 sons, all living except oldest daughter, Anna, who died 5 years ago. Survivors also include 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

HENRY ABEGG

Henry Abegg was born in Pittsburg, Pa., Sept 25, 1850 and died at his home near Truro, April 29, 1914, at the age of 63 years, 7 months, 4 days. When one year old, he with his parents moved to Iowa and settled near Ottumwa. When about 35 years old, he settled on the farm, where he has since resided.

He was united in marriage to Miss Mettie Cobbs., Jan. 26, 1887. To this union were born eleven children, five daughters and six sons, all living except the oldest daughter Anna who preceded him in death five years ago, and were at his bedside when he passed away. Besides his wife and children, he also leaves to mourn his death, two grandchildren, four sisters, three brothers, and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral was held from the home Thursday, conducted by Rev. S. C. Howe, and the body laid to rest in the Hartman cemetery of Ohio township.
