Death of Caswell Kinnaird

Patterson, Iowa - June 5 - Special

Caswell Kinnaird, a former resident of this place, died at his home in Thayer on Thursday night. Funeral services were held at St. Charles. Mr. Kinnaird was a brother of Mrs. W. A. Folwell. Many relatives and friends attended the service. Burial was at Mt. Pelier.

St. Charles

Caswell Kinnaird, a resident of this community for many years, but for the last several years having his home at Thayer, died at that place Thursday night and his body brought here Sunday where a large concourse of relatives and friends attended his funeral at 2:30 p. m. conducted by Rev. C. F. Schmidt, former pastor of the Church of Christ here, at which place the services were held, after which his body was taken to Mt. Pelier near Patterson for interment.

Mr. Kinnaird who was known by everyone as “Tat” was a man of sterling qualities and a devout Christian and had many friends here who at the time extend to the bereaved family a sympathy true and full of sincerity.
