The community was saddened when the news reached friends of the death of Mrs. Chas. Worthing, last Friday night. Mrs. Worthing had been in poor health for some time, taking much worse last Tuesday and passed away Tuesday night about 11 o’clock.

Funeral services were held from the Truro Christian church Monday at 2 p.m. and interment made in the Worthing cemetery. Rev. S. C. Howe had charge of the services.
