Mrs. Brumbly Rites Are Set

Services for Mrs. Cynthia Brumbly, 66, of 514 E. Thirteenth st., who died of a stroke Saturday at her home after a two-year illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the cemetery at St. Charles.

Born at Hanley in Madison County, Mrs. Brumbly moved from St. Charles to Des Moines 44 years ago. She was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible, the Ladies of the Moose and the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doris J. Rice of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Kenneth J. Howard of Des Moines and David L. Howard of San Francisco; two sisters, Mrs. Golda Haynes of West Des Moines and Mrs. Gladys Haynes of St. Charles; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cynthia was born March 24, 1897 in Hanley, Iowa. She died Nov. 9, 1963 at 1:30 p.m., at 66 years, 7 months and 15 days of age. She was buried on Wednesday, November 13, 1963 at the St. Charles Cemetery, South Township, Madison County, Iowa.

She was the daughter of George B. and Addie (VanHorn) Robinett. She was the wife of George W. Howard and John William Brumbly. Cynthia was widowed at the time of her death.
