Gerald Keith Crawford, 90, died of congestive heart failure Monday, Jan. 26, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with Pastor John Long officiating. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery.
Gerald Crawford was born Aug. 30, 1907, to Clinton and Ada Belle McGinnis Crawford. A lifelong resident of Madison County, he attended Broadhorn Schools and graduated from Truro High School. He married Bessie Seyles June 2, 1923, in Bethany, Mo. He was an oiler/machinist for Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America for 35 years. He was a member of the Old Fiddlers Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers; a sister; a brother-in-law; and a sister-in-law.
He is survived by three nieces, five nephews and a special friend, Edna O'Brien of Lacona, Iowa.
