MAMIE WRIGHT, Winterset

Mamie Wright, 88, of Winterset died of pneumonia April 12, 1998, at Madison County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Brother Richard Jones officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Mamie Marie Wright was born March 21, 1910, at Peru to Herbert and Edith Beecroft Moore. She married Everett Wright Jan. 9, 1931, in Winterset. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Madison County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

She is survived by one son, David Wright of Winterset; one daughter, Dorothy Bivins, also of Winterset; one sister, Donna Koeller of Galena, Ill.; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
