FRED EICHNER, 72, DIES AT IOWA CITY

Fred Eichner of Winterset, who had been in failing health for several months died at a hospital in Iowa City Tuesday evening. He was 72 years of age.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran church south of Van Meter. the body is at Fishers Funeral Home in Van Meter.

FRED EICHNER Dies After Long Illness

Fred Eichner, a Madison county farmer for many years, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1961, at Iowa City. He was 72 years of age, and had been in failing health the last five years.

Mr. Eichner was born at Grimes on June 13, 1888, a son of Conrad and Barbara Eichner. He was married June 27, 1913 to Susie Pritchard. Their entire married life was spent in Madison county. He had been a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Jefferson township for many years.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Susie Eichner of Winterset; two sons, Walter Eichner of Booneville and Henry Eichner of Des Moines; three grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Eichner of Winterset and John Eichner of Indianola, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Forret of Waukee.

Burial was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
