Larry B. Worrall, 60, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Services were held on Saturday, February 18, 2006, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Larry was born on June 27, 1945, in Lincoln, Neb., and grew up in Wahoo, Neb. Before moving to Altoona two and a half years ago, he lived in Winterset for 33 years, where he was a guidance counselor and teacher. He loved teaching and working with students. He coached various sports for Winterset Middle School and High School including girl’s varsity softball.

Larry was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Mike Worrall and his wife Dee, of Lenexa, Kan., daughter, Tracy Snetselaar and her husband, Kevin, of Pleasant Hill; granddaughter, Ellie Snetselaar; sister, Nancy Shook and her husband, John, of Elk Grove, Calif.; and aunt, Charlotte Basel of Wahoo, Neb.
